Tomas Łukaszuk pod lupą RCMP

LUKASZUK250CALGARY – Calgary cops are investigating the alleged fraudulent impersonation of a local resident’s identity after internal government documents were leaked to the media during the heated Progressive Conservative leadership race.

On Monday, the Edmonton Sun reported on documents received from an anonymous source that show PC leadership contender Thomas Lukaszuk stuck taxpayers with over $20,000 in international data roaming charges while on a personal trip to Poland and Israel in October 2012.

Premier Dave Hancock was unavailable for comment on Tuesday but a spokesperson for his office said Hancock believes the leak of documents is “inappropriate” and will explore investigative options within government.
